Quantity & exemption calculator
Limited/excepted quantities (ADR 3.4 / 3.5) and the 1.1.3.6 partial-exemption threshold — each cited.
Tool A — Limited / excepted quantity checker
See whether a UN number may travel as a limited quantity (ADR 3.4) or excepted quantity (ADR 3.5), with the cited limits.
Enter a UN number to see its limited-quantity (3.4) and excepted-quantity (3.5) position. An LQ value such as “1 L” means the goods may be carried as a limited quantity within that inner-packaging limit; “0” means not permitted. The E-code (E0–E5) sets the excepted-quantity limits.
Tool B — ADR 1.1.3.6 “1000-point” threshold
Add each item (UN number + quantity in kg or L). DGMind resolves the transport category from the ADR 2025 list, applies the 1.1.3.6.3 multiplier and totals against 1000.
Add one or more UN numbers and their quantities. The ADR 1.1.3.6.3 multiplier table: Category 1 ×50, Category 2 ×3, Category 3 ×1, Category 4 ×0 (unlimited). A Category 0 item disqualifies the exemption outright. If the total stays at or below 1000 points, the 1.1.3.6 partial exemption may apply.
